With 10 gold medals in its store, Canada soared to the first position in the overall gold medal count on Day 15. Russia has sunk from its previous position of 10th place for overall medal counts (15) to 11th place. The United States leads in overall medals with 34, followed by Germany (27) and the host of the Games, Canada, with 21 medals overall, with Norway on Canada"s heels down by one medal.
