A Soviet-made TU-154 carrying a top-level delegation to a ceremony for the anniversary of the Katyn massacre crashed in a wooded area as it attempted to land at an airport in the west of Russia in thick fog on Saturday morning, killing all 96 people on board.
Medvedev has declared Monday an official day of mourning for the crash victims.
