A household gas explosion shook Thursday...
"The explosion occurred in an apartment on the fifth floor of a 14-story building on Artekovskaya Street. Walls in the apartment and stairwell windows were smashed," a police spokesman said.
"There was no fire after the explosion," he said, adding that according to neighbors, the apartment owner was supposed to be inside but was not there.
It is not ruled out that the owner, shocked, left the building.
